Objective

With the point of departure in the defined scenarios in WP2 and the operation patterns resulting from WP3 the primary objective of this work package is to
Identify and assess policy instruments and necessary regulatory pathways towards coherent Danish energy systems with respect to the relevant offshore development that ensure resilience, sustainability and efficiency.

Secondary objectives

• Analyse how existing policies are affected by the need for reserves and the issue of adequacy and security of supply.
• Identify the need for new policy instruments necessary to achieve the relevant offshore development
• Analyse the effect of offshore development on coordination between energy systems and energy markets including the need for redefining market designs.
